The Brine-Water Heat Pump Vulcania®, recently developed by Termogamma, is the newest heat pump for Ground-Source (Vertical Borehole Heat Exchanger) heat pump or for water-water applications.
Vulcania® ditstinguishes for its simplicity, which allows to obtain a very interesting product from the economical point of view and maintaining a high quality level.
Vulcania® passed energy performances tests in the heat pump test centre of Winterthur-Töss, where it has shown an energy efficiency (COP) of 4.3-4.5 at B0W35, one of the highest for this kind of machines. This means, that Vulcania® delivers to the user more than four times the energy that he provides as electricity. The Swiss Federal Institute for Tests on Materials (EMPA) has measured the acoustical level. Vulcania® has shown the LOWEST acoustical emissions among all heat pumps tested during 10 years!
This makes of Vulcania® the most silent heat pump sold on the highly demanding swiss market!
Vulcania® dimensions are maintained at minimum values. It distinguishes also for the robustness of its structures, what completes a product of absolute quality.
With a complete accessories set, easily selectable as kits depending on the different cases, it is possible to obtain a complete system for many installation typologies.

Not Only Heating Vulcania® is also available as reversible heat pump. Thus, it can be used for winter heating AND for summer cooling, too. Therefore, the reversible version of Vulcania® can be used all year round! Highly Reliable Vulcania® is composed by high quality elements and a very simple structural construction. These points, joined to a 20-years experience of Termogamma make of Vulcania® a very reliable product. The refrigeration circuit of Vulcania® è is completely self-protected (f. ex. high and low pressure, antifreezing switch, water circuit pressure switch, compressor with internal thermal switch, etc.) High Construction Quality The robust and light aluminium chassis, the refrigeration circuit with triple mechanical damping, and many other details make Vulcania® structure absolutely robust and durable. No Maintenance The reliability and simplicity of Vulcania® are such, that no maintenance is needed. Extremely Silent Vulcania® is the most silent heat pump on the market, thanks to the construction quality, the multi-damping systems and the thermo-acoustical insulation. Minimal space needs The extremely compact arrangement of the internal elements reduces the space needs at the minimum. Vulcania® has pratically the dimensions of a small washing-mashine.. Modern Design Vulcania® is produced with a roof electrical board. Its design is pleasant and modern. Easy to use Vulcania® is easy to use. The internal regulator has been studied for different installation configurations and for a great appication flexibility. Vulcania® is also easy to install and to put into operation. This reduces the related costs and the risk of mistakes. Regulator can be Integrated The climatic regulator (optional) can be integrated in the electrical board. This makes the installation even more clean and compact. Heat Source and User Pumps can be Integrated For models up to 15, (about 15 kW), the heat source (ground probe) and user pumps (optionals) can be integrated into the casing. This makes the installation not only more intgrated, but also very silent. Management Electronic Control Vulcania® is equipped with a digital module that manages the heat pump elements, including the circulation pumps, and makes a complete diagnostics in case of an error. The control module has a temperature probe which allows to change the set value of the delivered temperature as a function of outside air. Thus, Vulcania® could also work without any climatic regulator, offering even lower investment costs for an installation with a very good confort. ETC... Vulcania® has number of optionals, which can be selected in order to optimally face any technical situation.
